Mr J
I know you have checked on me since we last "talked". It's strange. I sent you a text message around the same time you were checking my page. You did not relply. I do know know if it was self will or whether your number had been changed.
I hope that things are happier for you. Let me know how you are.

The list
So, everyone has one of these lists. You know, the things you want to do before you become cactus. I've been noticing them in a lot of places I go lately and I thought maybe I should have a go at composing my own. The rational side of me only wanted to put items on here I know I can achieve. That however would be a very small list as lately I feel like I'm not capable of achieving anything (if I can make 100 items I'll be amazed!).

I'm open to suggestions? 5/26/2008 04:14:00 PM
I am
Lately, I don't really have much to talk about. School is giving me a headache and I'm suffering from a heartache that hasn't really been inflicted on me, but rather it's just loneliness overwhelming me recently. I feel like letting loose with the tears and crawling into bed for a few weeks. Unfortunately, I don't have the time for that. I'm trying to stay out of the house as much as possible because when I'm home, I just can't keep my mind off of all the negative things I seem to be replaying - the what if's, could have beens, should have beens, would have beens, why's and opportunities I've missed.

Lately...
I've been trying to deal with uni and stress and sickness and just not being able to deal with some people around me. Just know that I'm alive and hoping that the witty, sassy girl will return shortly.

Because I'm slack, I'll do a quiz.
You Are An ISTJ |
![]() The Duty Fulfiller You are responsible, reliable, and hardworking - you get the job done. You prefer productive hobbies, like woodworking or knittings. Quiet and serious, you are well prepared for whatever life hands you. Conservative and down-to-earth, you hardly ever do anything crazy. In love, you are loyal and honest. If you commit yourself to someone, then you're fully committed. For you, love is something that happens naturally. And you don't need romantic gestures to feel loved. At work, you remember details well and are happy to take on any responsibility. You would make a great business executive, accountant, or lawyer. How you see yourself: Decisive, stable, and dependable When other people don't get you, they see you as: Boring, conservative, and egotistical |

I'm going to talk about the 'F' word (and the 'R' word too)
The 'F' word I'm referring to is faith and the 'R' word is religion. If you get all stirred up over these topics maybe you shouldn't read it. Not that I think that I am going to say anything surprisingly controversial.
Now anyone that knows me even the slightest knows that I am not all that I do not believe in God. I do not logically see how there could possibly be one higher being that controls our life paths and our destinies. I don't judge anyone who does. I might question the choices as to why and how there can be so much faith put into something you can really have no definite proof of. My view of the Bible is that it is just a story. Maybe an semi-biographical exaggeration of someone's life. I believe that people should have faith in their own abilities rather than relying on someone else to tell/show us. Does believing in God let us have someone to blame when things aren't good or someone to credit when it is really our own abilities that drive us?
My dilemma is that I am having a crisis of faith in myself and have been for a long time. I find myself good at a lot of things but not really great at anything. Nothing I do seems to really bring about any sense of direction or motivation. I guess it's about getting outside my comfort zone and trying new things but that is not always that easy. I've lost my train of thought. I guess I'll come and write more when I think of it. 11/22/2007 05:21:00 PM
